Wowly is operated by Sandra Tokarz, based in the Netherlands. We can be contacted at hello@wowly.tech. Wowly is a course platform that teaches non-technical people to build and deploy digital products using AI.
We collect the following personal data: your first name and email address when you join our waitlist or create an account; your learning progress and activity responses when you use the platform; your payment information when you purchase a plan (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details); and usage data such as login timestamps and XP earned.
We collect your data to: provide you with access to the Wowly platform and course content; track your learning progress and award XP; send you relevant updates about Wowly (only with your consent); process your payments; and improve the platform based on how it is used.
Under GDPR, we process your data on the following legal bases: Contract — to deliver the service you signed up for; Consent — for marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time; Legitimate interests — to improve the platform and prevent fraud.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Waitlist data is kept for a maximum of 24 months. Payment records are kept for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
We use the following third-party services to operate Wowly: Supabase (database and authentication, hosted in the EU); Vercel (hosting, based in the US — covered by Standard Contractual Clauses); Stripe (payment processing). We do not sell your data to any third party. Ever.
As a user in the European Union, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (the right to be forgotten); restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@wowly.tech with the subject line "Data Request".
Wowly uses only essential cookies required for the platform to function — specifically for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking tools.
We take data security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to your account only using Row Level Security in our database. We never store passwords in plain text.
